| | Accounts Receivable Supervisor | POSITION SUMMARY:
Managing Accounts Receivable department, including billing, credit and collections, revenue recognition, job cost analysis for one of our major clients.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage accounts receivable, billing, revenue reconciliation, credit and collections • Main accounting contact for client • Main contact for client accounting. Work closely with client accounting to ensure that all budgets are reconciled monthly and accuracy of all billing and flowcharts. Provide monthly reporting to client on open PO's and unpaid A/R. Attend monthly budget status calls. • Manage monthly billing, income and detail used for monthly revenue forecast • Review AR Aging weekly for past due invoices so clients can be contacted for payment • Monthly Job Cost analysis, including margin analysis and job closings • Maintain billing portion of client flowcharts, to include month audits of planned vs. actual activity to insure flowchart accuracy. • Balance client forecast to actual billing each month. Reconcile where needed. • Approve all vendor pre-payments verifying that client has been billed • Balance AR accounts to the general ledger • Resolve monthly bank reconciling items • Prepare monthly borrowing base report for bank • Update and maintain AR procedures • Assist with year end and bank audits
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Must be detail oriented, independent problem solver, and self motivated employee. Must be able to thrive in a fast pace, client focused, goal oriented environment.
EDUCATION: 4 year business degree, BS/BA in Accounting preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 + years of Accounts Receivable experience, including 2 years as a supervisor. Prior advertising agency experience is a plus. COMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills, must be proficient (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft Excel and Word. Prior ERP system experience in a job cost environment. Advantage Software experience is a plus
SOFT SKILLS: Detail Oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Must be able to meet deadlines within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
